Available Actions

  • Awaken Swarm — Roll against a planet’s Defense. On success, place your Influence and spawn 2 Web Stars.
  • Create Voidgate — Your Chitinclaw may create a Voidgate in an adjacent hex (twice per game; once per round).
  • Additional Movement — Move up to 5 ships up to their speed (2 Joro Stalkers count as 1 Ship).
  • Obtain Artifact — Remove an Artifact Token on a planet you control to draw 2, keep 1 (reveal kept card).
  • Infest — Sacrifice a Webweaver on an unoccupied non‑Homeworld planet to take control; place Influence, 2 Web Stars, and 2 Joro Stalkers.

Starting Position

Place a Voidgate token 4 spaces from the Galactic Center. Spawn 1 Chitinclaw, 5 Silk Striders, 2 Fangs, and 1 Webweaver there.

Production (Per Controlled Planet)

  • During Production, spawn 2 Joro Stalkers and 1 Web Star above each planet you control.

Fleet Roster

  • Fangs (Scout) — Move only in Movement phase. May be sacrificed on a controlled planet to become a Web Star.
  • Webweaver (Scout) — Performs Infest.
  • Joro Stalkers (Fighter) — 1d6 | Def 4 | Spd 4. Can move through (not land on) Black Holes.
  • Silk Strider (Frigate) — 4d4 | Def 12 | Spd 5 | +2 vs. Planets.
  • Web Star (Frigate) — 2d6 | Def 10 | Spd 4 | +2 vs. Ships.
  • Chitinclaw (Dreadnought) — 4d8 | Def 16 | Spd 3 | Can Create Voidgate once/round (twice per game).

Victory Path

Primary Objective: Draw 4 planets; control all simultaneously achieve Primary Objective.

Secondary (complete at least one):

  • Destroy 2 enemy Dreadnoughts
  • Control 1 enemy Homeworld
  • Control 8 total planets
  • Obtain 6 Artifacts

Voidgates — Rules Snapshot

  • May replace Non‑Homeworld planets, Space Stations, NPC, or Event tiles (not Homeworlds, Black Holes, Wormholes, Asteroids).
  • Tile is removed from the game; impassable to non‑Racnoss; acts as Wormholes for the Racnoss.
  • Ships trapped on a Voidgate must roll d10 ≥ 8 to escape to an adjacent tile (add movement speed as a bonus); fail = destroyed.
